I have the distinct honor of knowing Euzine Byun for several years, and now partnering with him on projects in Asia.  I traveled to Korea to look at two projects with him and expect to return soon. Euzine is a world renowned and distinguished consortium consultant, financial expert, and is responsible for all aspects of professional management and project execution.

Euzine contributes deep knowledge and experiences on a variety of project types, including master planning for educational institutions, theme resort planning, golf course and waterfront [beaches] design, including water-park and underwater hotel, and gives concrete directions for urban and rural site planning. Euzine has profound knowledge on the international practice of major project development, with projects in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

Current projects:

·        Royal Crown resort includes casino, museum, on water chalet, underwater hotel, convention center, trade tower, 18-hole golf resort and five bridges;

·        Triumph Golf Club includes two 18-hole golf courses on 800 acres;

·        South Ocean Golf Resort includes 36-holes of golf, a five-star 350 room hotel, 400 fractional ownership condos times 6 shares = 2,400 ownership [due south over looking Japan].

·        Film Studio Park includes museum, auction-house, university, high-school and three kingdom [Baikje, Goguryo and Shilla 7th C] and four 16th C villages;

·        Golden Dragon community includes 2,600 unit condominium, indoor and strip mall, fish pond, walkway, private park and high-school.

I recently visited Korea and traveled to several parts of the country to see potential development sites.  Korea is a vibrant and beautiful place.  Mr. Byun, Mr. Byung Ma, and I visited a site on the eastern coast where the Triumph Golf Club is proposed.  The views around and beyond the property are magnificent.  There are distance views of the ocean and a healthy breeze from that direction.  Wind and views will be important criteria to consider in the design of the course. The terrain appeared moderately sloped as compared to other courses we saw on my trip. I am certain there is some steep areas, but overall the land seemed very amenable to some great golf holes.

The plans are for a 45 hole resort golf course facility.  Water may be an element that distinguishes these courses from others we looked at, but this must be carefully integrated into the design because of the potential for tourists having access to one or more courses.

There maybe an opportunity to incorporate a marina and boating into the design of the project. Since the land is connected to the ocean by a tidal area canals could be dug throughout the project allowing for some boat traffic within the development, and boat access to the sea. In the big picture given the large amount of land this represents a unique opportunity to not only have golf courses, marina, and hotels, but to create an entire town, with home sites, businesses, parks, all the elements that make up a vibrant town or village.
